Outgoing Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale was snapped celebrating his team’s victory over Fremantle with his new flame Emma Field.

Field shared a photo to Instagram showing Neale with his arm wrapped around her shoulder, wearing a medal around his neck.

He held three fingers up to represent the three consecutive premierships his team has won.

While Lachie Neale’s Brisbane exit to join Collingwood is well known in the AFL, it has not yet been 100 per cent confirmed. After playing his role in the Lions’ threepeat, Neale effectively made it official.

‘I had to attend a couple of tribunals but other than that it was training like I was going to play and fortunately for me it fell my way Thursday night and I was able to come out and play,’ he said.

‘I probably didn’t play my best game but a couple of good moments, just really happy to get the win.

‘I have absolutely loved my time with this club. They’re an exceptional organisation from top to bottom and I can’t thank them enough for the last eight years, it’s been an incredible ride and I feel like the best eight years of my life.

‘To finish it with three premierships is something as a kid I never would have dreamed of and I’m sure they (Lions) will keep competing.’

Alex Pearce had to suffer the double pain of a serious injury and a grand final loss, but the Fremantle captain had strong words at the presentations of the 2026 AFL Grand Final.

‘I’m so proud of everyone of you the way you fought today, the way we fought this year. The people that you are, and I know that we’ll be back.’
