Aaron Rodgers recently ended his long-running family feud – and his formerly estranged brother, Jordan, is now coming out to bat for him on national TV.
The legendary NFL quarterback was involved in a high-profile public fallout with his family, which hit the headlines when Jordan appeared on The Bachelorette back in 2016.
However, Rodgers raised eyebrows when he shared a number of pictures reunited with his family during the NFL offseason and later confirmed they had reconciled.
Despite the developments in his private life, Rodgers has had a tough start to the NFL season, struggling in Week 2 as the Steelers were beaten 20-3 by the New England Patriots.
Three days later, former Vanderbilt quarterback Jordan Rodgers was sat on ESPN’s First Take, where he came out and defended his brother on national TV.
‘Rodgers was actually very accurate down the field,’ Jordan said of Aaron.

‘The throws that were not completed because he threw a non-call or that were dropped down the field were on the money,’ Jordan continued, adding, ‘Not trying to be a homer.’
He claimed that Rodgers and his former Packers coach Mike McCarthy are still in the ‘feeling out process’ after being reunited in Pittsburgh and compared the situation to ‘that ex you ended up getting back together with after a long time.’
He added: ‘I think if you truly watched Week 1, this was a team that was a few drops and a few missed calls away from being absolutely explosive. I think they’ll get better with patience.’
Aaron Rodgers claimed after the game that the Steelers offense ‘all played below our standard’ while giving credit to the Patriots defense.
In an appearance on teammate Cam Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast earlier this month, he spoke candidly about reconnecting with his parents and siblings earlier in the summer.
He also confirmed he had made up with Jordan despite him not appearing in his family photos.
‘There’s been a few things that have happened the last couple of years, which has made the idea of reconciling with my parents first an opportunity,’ Rodgers said.
His parents, Ed and Darla, planned to relocate from his Chico, California home to Nashville.

‘The last day they were in Chico, was the day I met them there at their house,’ he said. ‘The house I bought them and built for them. And so, full circle.
‘A couple weeks after that, went out to Nashville, met up with my older brother [Luke Rodgers], and a couple weeks after that, met up with my little brother [Jordan Rodgers].
‘It was cool. There were tough conversations for sure, but I’m just in a much better headspace.’
