Salah Scores Hat-Trick as Trabzonspor Thrash Galatasaray 4-0

Mohamed Salah produced a brilliant performance on Saturday as Trabzonspor defeated Galatasaray 4-0 in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Egypt captain opened the scoring just four minutes into the match before setting up Noah Saviolo for Trabzonspor’s second goal.

Salah then found the net again in the 43rd minute to give his side a 3-0 lead before the break.

The 34-year-old completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute, scoring Trabzonspor’s fourth goal and sealing a heavy victory over the league leaders.

The result means Salah has now scored seven goals and provided two assists in his first six league appearances for Trabzonspor.

He has also scored in each of his first three home league matches for the club, becoming the first foreign player to achieve the feat since the 2000/01 season.

Trabzonspor moved to fifth place in the league table following the victory, while Galatasaray remain top despite the heavy defeat.

Salah will now join up with the Egypt national team for the international break before returning to Trabzonspor for their league match against Samsunspor on October 10.
