Sporting Lagos produced perhaps the most emotionally significant result of Matchday Three, sweeping aside Inter Lagos 3-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena to claim the bragging rights on the return of top-flight Lagos derby football.
And Sodiq Ayoade now owns a special piece of that history.
Ayoade scored the opening goal — the first goal in a Lagos top-flight derby in 3,725 days.
