Tottenham are in talks with Manchester City over the potential signings of Savinho and Omar Marmoush, the eSporty News understands.
Brazil winger Savinho has repeatedly been linked with Spurs over the past year while Egypt forward Marmoush has also now emerged as a target for the London club.
No agreement has been reached, but negotiations are understood to be progressing.
Their signings would continue a busy summer for Spurs following the arrivals of Sandro Tonali, John Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi.
Savinho, 22, signed a contract extension to 2031 last October but has struggled to command a regular first-team place at the Etihad Stadium.
He has made 84 appearances over the past two seasons, having spent time at City’s sister clubs Troyes and Girona earlier in his career.
Marmoush, 27, has largely had to settle for an understudy’s role behind Erling Haaland since his £59million move from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025. He has scored 16 goals in 16 appearances.
Meanwhile, Dominic Solanke and Destiny Udogie both trained on Wednesday as they ramped up their bids to be fit for Spurs’ Premier League opener against Brentford.
Solanke, who missed the majority of last season with ankle and hamstring problems, has been absent from pre-season preparations since Spurs’ 2-1 win against Chelsea in Sydney on August 1.
However, the former Bournemouth striker featured alongside his team-mates at the club’s Hotspur Way training ground ahead of their trip to face the Bees on Saturday evening.
Udogie has not played in any of Spurs’ pre-season matches following a series of muscular problems last term.
But his participation in training will provide manager Roberto De Zerbi with hope that he can be in contention this weekend.
James Maddison, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury last season, and Fernandes, struck down with a calf problem in recent weeks, also trained in a further boost to De Zerbi.
However, Micky van de Ven, who has not played a single minute for Spurs since his return from the World Cup with the Netherlands, was not involved and is a serious doubt for this weekend.
