Cornerback Terrion Arnold has reportedly found a new home in the NFL after being cut by the Detroit Lions amid accusations of masterminding a kidnapping and robbery plot.
Arnold, 23, is accused of being the mastermind of a kidnapping and armed robbery plot in Florida, for which he is facing a life sentence.
Yet, despite facing a slew of eight felonies, Arnold has reportedly been handed a lifeline after trying out with a number of teams around the league.
The former Alabama product is reportedly expected to sign with the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawk, according to a number of reports.
Arnold visited with the Seahawks on Monday when he is believed to have impressed head coach Mike McDonald.
The cornerback enjoyed a ‘great visit’ and ‘great tryout,’ according to the Super Bowl-winning head coach.
‘It’s enough right now that we had him in for a great visit, a great tryout,’ Macdonald told reporters. ‘It’s a situation where there’s other things that are surrounding it as well. We’re aware of that. We’re working through the situation right now…
‘But it was a great visit. I really enjoyed meeting him, and I think he enjoyed being here, so we’ll see where it goes.’
In addition to the Seahawks, the former first-round draft pick has also worked out for the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints and, most recently, the New York Giants.
