Rhasidat Adeleke produced the best performance of the season to qualify for the women’s 200m final at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
Adeleke ran a time of 22.43 to produce her season’s best and qualify for the final.

Lauren Roy missed out on qualification for the 200m final, but can take a lot from her fourth-place finish in the second semi-final.
