Nigeria international Yira Sor has joined Turkish Super Lig club Amedspor from Belgian Jupiler outfit Genk.
Amedspor confirmed the signing of Sor on their X handle on Monday.
The 26-year-old winger is the latest Nigerian player who recently moved to the Turkish league this summer.
Others are Kelechi Iheanacho who signed for second division side Bursaspor, Chidozie Awaziem joined Konyaspor while Gift Orban now play for Amedspor.
Sor made 28 appearances in the Belgian topflight last season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
He began his career at Port Harcourt-based Family Love Academy, before moving to 36 Lion in Lagos, and in February 2021, he signed for Czech First League club BanΓk Ostrava.
On 21 January 2022, after three league goals and five assists during the first half of the 2021β22 season, Slavia Prague confirmed the signing of Sor on a contract until December 2026.
Sor made two appearances for Nigeriaβs Flying Eagles at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
Also, he made his only Super Eagles appearance in a friendly game against Jordan in March 2026.
