There is less than one month remaining of the 2026 summer transfer window, and clubs across Europe therefore face a race against time to finalise their business ahead of Deadline Day.
So far this summer, Chelsea have unsurprisingly spent the most money of any club in world football, with 10 signings, including Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix and Marco Palestra, arriving at Stamford Bridge for a combined price of €389 million. They are also on the verge of signing Pep Chavarria.
Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham Hotspur have also spent big this summer, with Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes joining the club for over €200m combined, and Jan Paul van Hecke, Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka arriving in north London too.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have signed Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, Karl Darlow and Tynan Thompson, and they remain eager to finalise a deal for Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall. However, they missed out on top target Elliot Anderson to arch-rivals Manchester City.
Enzo Maresca’s side paid a club-record fee of €135m to sign the England midfielder from Nottingham Forest, and they have also completed deals for youngsters Mathys Detourbet, Jeremy Monga and Pierce Charles. Detourbet and Charles have already left on loan.
Arsenal have signed Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis, Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier as they look to defend their Premier League crown, but top target Vinicius Junior decided to sign a new contract at Real Madrid rather than complete a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have purchased Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz and Samuel Martinez, and they have also completed the surprising loan signing of Barcelona captain Ronald Araujo.
Real Madrid have signed Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, Ibrahima Konate, Bernardo Silva and Carlos Espi following Jose Mourinho’s return to the club, but they look set to miss out on Rodri, who wants to join Barcelona.
Hansi Flick’s side have already signed Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon, Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi and Club Brugge attacker Jesse Bisiwu so far this summer, and they are now keen to lure Rodri to Camp Nou.
In Serie A, Juventus have purchased Randal Kolo Muani and Kerim Alajbegovic, John Stones has signed for Inter Milan on a Bosman deal, and AC Milan have spent a whopping €74m on Goncalo Ramos.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have signed Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, andPSG have added Maghnes Akliouche to an exciting forward line that could also soon include Ferran Torres and Mika Godts.
