Nigeria’s Flying Eagles suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Burkina Faso in the final of the WAFU B U-20 championship on Sunday.
Burkina Faso have now secured the sole qualification to the 2027 U-20 African Cup of Nations in Ghana.
The U-20 AFCON will also serve as qualifiers for the 2027 U-20 World Cup which will be co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
