Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis believes he is deserving of an NFL starting spot. However, his performance in an open inter-squad scrimmage appears to suggest otherwise.
Just days after confidently declaring that there are ‘not 32 quarterbacks in this league better than me,’ Levis was – quite literally – caught slipping when facing his own defense.
In a clip that has gone viral on social media, Levis faced pressure from a pass rush and rolled to his right. He attempted to scramble for yardage but was met with defenders directly in his path.
As the fourth-year veteran attempted to back peddle and extend the play, he lost his footing, slipped and fell onto the turf at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Audible groans and laughter could be heard as Levis threw the ball into the ground for an incomplete pass.
It’s yet another embarrassing moment in a series of embarrassing moments for Levis across his NFL career.

This comes days after the backup boldly claimed that he deserved a starting spot in the NFL
After five years in college at Penn State and Kentucky, the Connecticut native was projected to be a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
However, Levis was left snubbed as the cameras continued to show him and his now ex-girlfriend Gia Duddy sitting on a green room couch in shock as he tumbled down draft boards.
Eventually, the Titans selected him with the first pick of the second round the following day.
After starting his season third on the depth chart, Levis eventually made his first NFL start in October 2023 – where he threw for four touchdowns in a win. He has yet to replicate that outing.
Across his career, Levis has thrown for 3,899 yards in 21 games and completed 61 percent of his passes. He also tallied 21 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
In his second season, he entered as the Week 1 starter – but struggled all season long and lost his starting spot to Mason Rudolph. He finished with just 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns and 12 picks.
During that time, Levis was repeatedly mocked for his blunders and meme-like reactions – including a viral moment when he dropped to his knees after throwing an interception.
He missed the entire 2025 season due to injury and is now firmly the third-string quarterback behind starter Cam Ward and veteran backup Mitch Trubisky.

His off-field life has also been scrutinized, especially after a sex tape of him and ex-girlfriend Gia Duddy was leaked in May of 2024

Levis’s mother Beth spoke out on the leaked ‘intimate tape’ in an interview back in May
Levis’s off-field situation has been similarly troubled after a sex tape featuring him and Duddy was leaked back in May of 2024.
The quarterback’s mother, Beth Levis, revealed her son spent a large sum of money to find out who was responsible for releasing the video.
‘It really hurt Will because he knew this was going to be something that probably a lot of people would see and it’s not meant for anybody else’s eyes, other than perhaps he and his girlfriend,’ Beth said this past May on the Ross Tucker Football Podcast.
She also used the interview to shoot down online rumors that her son or Duddy had leaked the footage deliberately. Levis and Duddy split in September 2023 and Beth had noticed people questioning if one of them had leaked the footage to upset the other.
‘There was conjecture that this video was leaked on purpose by my son or his girlfriend at the time which was not the case at all,’ she said.
‘Will actually ended up engaging in hiring a cyber security specialist and private investigator, spent an exorbitant amount of money to try and get to the bottom of this. It’s amazing you can even do this, it’s crazy these people are even available.’
Those investigators discovered that Levis had been hacked by criminals thousands of miles away.
‘Ultimately, a lot of the content was taken down but you know, you can never scrape anything entirely off the internet,’ she added. ‘We did find out this content was stolen and his private laptop, or whatever, was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college.’
