All the latest Chelsea transfer news in one place, including updates on Endrick, Benoit Badiashile and Jonathan Rowe.
Endrick contact
The representatives of Real Madrid striker Endrick have made contact with Chelsea, TEAMtalk claims.
The Brazil international is concerned about his role under Jose Mourinho this season, following Real Madrid’s acquisitions of Carlos Espi and Yan Diomande. The player’s entourage is now sounding out a potential transfer.
Chelsea are among the clubs to have been contacted, and they are known to be long-standing admirers. However, as things stand, Real Madrid are only prepared to sanction a loan.
Napoli could push for Badiashile
Napoli are weighing up whether or not to make a fresh push for Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile, Sky Sports reports.
Talks between the two clubs have revealed a sizeable gap in valuation, which has prompted the Serie A outfit to consider potential alternatives. However, discussions are not yet dead in the water.
Napoli could make a fresh approach for the French centre-back if Chelsea indicate a willingness to potentially agree to a loan deal with a conditional purchase obligation rather than an outright sale this summer.
Rowe happy to stay at Bologna
Rumoured Chelsea target Jonathan Rowe is content to stay at Bologna for another year.
The former Norwich City prospect has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, but Bologna are understood to be unwilling to sanction the English winger’s exit.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Rowe has now insisted that he has fully accepted the club’s decision. “I’d say so [the matter is closed]. Now I’m a Bologna player, this is a great club with clear ideas and a new project I’m 100% focused on.
“I feel part of this world, I don’t think about anything else and I’m not interested in anything else.”
Should Chelsea keep Jackson?
Data from analytics firm SciSports suggests that Chelsea are making a major mistake by trying to sell Nicolas Jackson.
The Senegal international was forced out of the club last summer, joining Bayern on loan, and Chelsea are now looking to offload him permanently following the signings of Emmanuel Emegha and Danny Welbeck.
However, SciSports believes that Jackson is not just the best striker at Chelsea but among the top centre-forwards in all of world football, which suggests that the Blues are at risk of committing a serious blunder.
