The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Wednesday that it has received a report of a “loud explosion” in close proximity to a vessel 95 nautical metres southeast of Yemen’s port city of Aden.
In a post to X, UKMTO added that all the crew are safe and no environmental impact has been reported.
