If you’re planning to follow the season closely, here’s a look at the current title favourites according to Sky Bet.

The Hammers were relegated after 14 consecutive seasons in the top flight following a dismal campaign that saw them finish 18th, two points behind 17th-placed Tottenham.

Their task now is to bounce back at the first attempt and put last season’s disappointment behind them.

The other two relegated clubs are also expected to challenge for promotion. Wolves are second favourites at 11/2, while Burnley are joint third favourites at 9/1 alongside Middlesbrough, setting the stage for what could be a fiercely competitive race at the top of the table.

Southampton and Birmingham round out the five shortest-priced clubs in the market, with both sides priced at 12/1.

With several established top-flight clubs looking to bounce back and ambitious Championship contenders hoping to make their mark, the race for promotion is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing in recent seasons.
