Israeli forces demolish eleven homes in occupied West Bank during past 24 hours

Eleven Palestinian homes have been destroyed in the past 24 hours by Israeli forces, Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday, citing local sources.

Israeli settlers attacked three Palestinians, including an elderly woman, and blocked an ambulance from arriving in Masafer Yatta, while six Palestinians were detained in Nablus, the report added.

Wafa news also reported on Tuesday that Israeli authorities issued four military orders to seize more than 22 dunams (2.2 hectares) of Palestinian-owned land in the towns of Arraba and Qabatiya, south of Jenin, claiming that it was required for military purposes.

Israeli forces brought in additional mobile homes near to the Tayasir military checkpoint, east of Tubas, as part of plans to establish a new Israeli settlement in the area, Wafa reported, citing a local council leader.
