Israel is expected to release 60 Palestinian detainees to the Gaza Strip on Monday, the Israeli military and Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office said, according to Haaretz.
This would be the largest release of Palestinian detainees since October’s ceasefire deal.
Unlike those released as part of the October agreement, the detainees being freed now are not considered βterroristsβ, the Israeli army said.
