Former Vikings star Everson Griffen was arrested after he was caught allegedly speeding in the southeastern part of Minnesota.
Griffen was pulled over in the town of Winona, located roughly two hours southeast of Minneapolis, on Thursday night.
Police claim Griffen was driving 62mph in a 40mph zone.ย
According to TMZ, a Winona County Detention Center representative told them that Griffen was booked on a gross misdemeanor charge of not driving with an interlock device, a gadget that will not start a car unless the driver blows a 0.00 into a breathalyzer.
According to court records, Griffen was released after posting bond.
