Anthony Joshua fights back tears as he dedicates dramatic victory over Kristian Prenga to two best friends killed in car crash just seven months ago

An emotional Anthony Joshua fought back tears as he dedicated his victory over Kristian Prenga to his two ‘brothers’ who died in a car crash in Nigeria in December.

Joshua, twice dropped by Prenga in the first round before knocking him out in the second, admitted it had been ‘tough’ after the death ofΒ Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele.

‘That was spirit. That was Sina and Latz. That was the families,’ Joshua said.

‘It’s been tough.’ Joshua then appeared to tear up before adding: ‘They’re my brothers. I don’t want to talk about it.’
