Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said that they targeted two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, claiming the vessels had violated a ban imposed by the group.
Saudi Arabia’s state media later confirmed that one of its vessels were struck and the bow of the ship caught fire, with a source adding that all crew members onboard Encelia were safe.
“The Yemeni armed forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting two Saudi oil tankers.”
