Rangers are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Brighton & Hove Albion winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, who enjoyed an excellent season on loan at Bolton Wanderers in 2025-26.

The 21-year-old is a product of Arsenal’s academy, but he left the Emirates Stadium to join Brighton upon the expiration of his contract in 2024 and he has been widely tipped to secure another permanent transfer this summer.

Belgian side Anderlecht have seen a bid worth just shy of €6 million rejected by Brighton, as per The Athletic, while Rangers are ready to challenge for his signature amid competition from Bundesliga side Augsburg and Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC.

It’s reported that Brighton have no interest in selling the winger and contract talks are believed to be ongoing, with his current contract due to expire in 2028. However, it remains to be seen if Cozier-Duberry will accept fresh terms at the AMEX Stadium or look to leave the club for pastures new.

Rangers are among the clubs keeping close tabs on his situation and they could look to bring him to Ibrox this summer following the expiration of Mikey Moore’s loan move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Cozier-Duberry scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in 37 matches as Bolton secured promotion from League One last season and the 21-year-old has previously drawn comparisons to Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

Speaking during his time as a coach in the Arsenal academy, Luton Town boss Jack Wilshere admitted: “Amario is very exciting and Mikel [Arteta] likes him. He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he’s definitely exciting.

“In some moments, he’s unplayable. You give him the ball and he can make things happen.

“You can set up a team and have a game plan, but when you’ve got individuals like that you’ve got a chance.”

Rangers ready to challenge for Scottish Premiership title

Cozier-Duberry is the latest star linked with a move to Rangers and Derek McInnes’ side look primed to mount a serious title charge next season.

The Scottish giants have already signed Ivor Pandur, Ross McCrorie, Dan Neil, Lawrence Shankland, Cammy Devil and Ben Godfrey (loan), while the club are also in advanced talks over deals for Jens Hjerto-Dahl and Vanja Dragojevic.

Meanwhile, arch-rivals Celtic have only added Camilo Duran to their squad so far this summer and it has already been confirmed that further reinforcements may be limited.
