A well-known inter-state thief from Uhuhu (also called Ohuhu) in Abia State was caught on Thursday, July 16, 2026, while trying to escape with electric wires he vandalised and stole from a private building.

Eyewitnesses say he was making away with the stolen items when he was nabbed. The exact area in Aba where it happened is not yet confirmed by police, but the incident happened in broad daylight or early evening, drawing a crowd.
