A lady has shared CCTV footage online showing the moment a man allegedly stole a phone from their office at a library branch in Lagos. The incident happened on Friday, July 17, 2026.
In the video, the man, dressed in a yellow shirt, is seen inside the office. He appears to be making enquiries or waiting, while speaking on his phone. At some point, he gets close to where the office phone was kept and takes it without being noticed at that moment. The lady who posted the video wrote: “This is somebody’s father and husband. He allegedly stole our office phone at our library branch in Lagos today. Please help us share this widely so he can be identified.” She appealed to the public for help in finding the man.
