According to a report by Ghanaweb on Thursday, Jul 16, 2026, a man has shared a heartbreaking account of how he caught his wife in a compromising position with another man behind their house, three days after the incident occurred.
In a letter to GhanaWeb’s “Dear GhanaWeb” platform, the man explained that he and his wife had been married for eight years and share a two-year-old son. According to him, a neighbour alerted him to a car parked in an isolated spot behind their newly developed neighbourhood, asking if it belonged to him. He said no, but grew concerned since the area was usually quiet. He tried calling his wife repeatedly, but she did not pick up.
As he walked closer to investigate, he noticed the parked vehicle had heavily tinted windows and was visibly shaking. His heart raced as he knocked and called out, and it took close to five minutes before the door opened.
Inside, he found his wife and another man, both drenched in sweat despite the air conditioning running. He said neither of them needed to explain anything, as the situation spoke for itself. His wife broke down in tears immediately, apologising repeatedly and pleading with him not to leave her.
The man said the other party quickly escaped through the opposite door and fled before he could see his face clearly. He considered chasing him but decided against it, reasoning that the stranger owed him no loyalty, unlike his wife.
He described his wife’s tears as unlike anything he had witnessed before, adding that her visible remorse only deepened his confusion rather than easing it.
