On Wednesday, 15 July 2026, a yet-to-be-identified young woman who operated a Point of Sale (POS) business was allegedly gang-raped and killed. Her body was reportedly dumped in a body of water near the ShopRite area in Sangotedo.
The sad news spread fast on social media, with many people sharing videos and photos from the scene. According to eyewitness reports, the woman was attacked close to Sangotedo Market in the Ajah part of Eti-Osa LGA.
