England’s World Cup players have been enjoying some down time after being knocked out of the tournament.
The Three Lions fell short at the semi-final stage of the summer competition as they lost 2-1 against Argentina in a heated game on Wednesday evening.
In the aftermath, the team and manager Thomas Tuchel have received backlash for their approach after going ahead in the game, with some defensive moves resulting in Argentina scoring twice.
England must now face France in a third-place play-off match in Miami on Saturday night, but a number of stars – including World Cup hero Jude Bellingham – have been enjoying some BBQ food before the France clash.
The Three Lions have been based in Kansas for the North America World Cup, opting to fly to and from games rather than move their base throughout.
And six of the squad stopped off at a petrol station in Kansas for a bite to eat on Thursday evening.

Morgan Rogers, Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Dan Burn, Anthony Gordon and Elliot Anderson were snapped enjoying their food, with the petrol station, the famous Joe’s Kansas City, sharing the post on social media.
They captioned the photo: ‘We appreciate @BellinghamJude and a few of the guys from @England for stopping in for some Joe’s last night. Best of luck this weekend!’
Some of the players looked happier than others, however. While Rogers smiled and put a thumb up, Bellingham looked to force a smile, similar to Gordon.
Henderson and Burn also looked happy to be there, but Anderson, who is joining Manchester City for £130million, not even looking at the camera.
The squad have had to stay out in the States ahead of their game on Saturday, which has been dubbed as the match no one wants to play.
Tuchel said of the clash: ‘None of our players and none of the French players want to play this match. They want to play the final. We gave everything to achieve that.
‘Everyone plays to win the World Cup, but that’s how it is. We have one less day of recovery than France, but we will do it with professionalism.’
