A tanker has reported warning shots were fired near to it after being approached by six small boats 50 miles south of Yemen’s Aden, according to the United King Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
This comes after Iranian state TV said it fired “warning shots” at two ships following renewed tensions with the US that led to Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz once again.
