Fans were left concerned for tennis star Demi Schuurs and a ball girl after the two collided at Wimbledon.
Schuurs, alongside partner Ellen Perez, was facing Shuko Aoyama and En-shou Laing in the women’s doubles quarter-finals on No 3 court, with the first set finely poised at 3-3.
But disaster ensued when the Dutchwoman ran to the back of the court to retrieve a forehand effort, and found a ball girl in her way.
Schuurs tried to play the shot, but clattered into the ball girl, who was in the correct position.
The duo fell to the ground, which caused concern due to there being concrete at the back of the courts.
Schuurs appeared to come out worse, and required a medical time-out in the middle of the game, with a physio checking her arms and knees.

And though the Dutchwoman lost the point, she gave the ball girl a high five after treatment, and was able to continue.
Unfortunately for Schuurs and Perez, though, they lost 6-4, 6-4 overall, meaning they were knocked out.
It meant Schuurs fell at the quarter-final hurdle again, with her best finish in a Grand Slam when she reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open in 2021.
