The governor of Bushehr confirmed that explosions were heard over Bushehr, where one of Iran’s nuclear plants is located, on Thursday, Iran’s IRNA news agency reported.
“Whether the sound heard was from the defence of the armed forces, an enemy projectile hitting the areas, or an enemy drone being targeted is still under investigation, and its definitive cause has not yet been determined,” he told the news agency.
