Travellers are facing major delays across the Eurostar network due to an incident near the tracks at Lille–Europe station.
A notice on Eurostar’s website reads: “We expect our trains between London and Lille/Brussels/Rotterdam/Amsterdam to be subject to severe delays on 07/07/2026 due to emergency services attending an incident near the tracks in Lille Europe.”
A number of people have taken to X to complain about the disruption affecting the high-speed railway network. One user wrote: “I’m on the 10:56am from Brussels to London, we were stuck on the tracks towards Lille and have just started moving again, we’re approaching Lille station but we’re driving straight through, our stop there has been cancelled.”
