A weather warning for heat in Toronto has been announced ahead of the World Cup clash between Portugal and Croatia.
The European nations will battle for a last 16 spot tonight at the BMO Field, live on eSPORTY, with kick-off scheduled for 12am UK time.

Spain or Austria await the winners of a match that looks set to have tough playing conditions.
As per the forecast from the Met Office, the temperature will sit at 35 degrees Celsius when the match kicks off at 7pm local time.
BMO Field is also set to have little cloud cover during the match.
The average highest temperature in Toronto during July is said to be around 25 degrees Celsius, so this marks a significant increase.
In response, the Canadian government issued an orange warning for heat in the city, which could continue into the weekend.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range from 31 to 34 degrees Celsius, although some areas could even reach 37 degrees Celsius.
As for minimum temperatures, 21 to 25 degrees Celsius is forecasted.
World Cup wait continues for Portugal
A third-place finish in 1966 remains as the best World Cup campaign for Portugal across eight tournaments before this summer.
Their 2022 journey ended in the quarter-finals when they lost 1-0 to surprise package Morocco.
Portugal have had a mixed start to the 2026 tournament as they won just one of their Group K games and drew the other two.

Croatia eye another deep run

Croatia then finished third four years later, with the legendary Luka Modric still at the heart of the side despite his veteran status.
In 2026, they won their Group L matches against Panama and Ghana, but lost 4-2 against England.
