Four critical as coach smashes into building and bus stop in Spain leaving 46 injured

Dozens of people have reportedly been injured after a coach travelling through the province of Lleida in Catalonia, Spain, slammed into a building and bus stop

Multiple people have reportedly suffered severe injuries after a coach struck a building and bus stop in Spain, sparking a massive emergency response.

The vehicle was travelling in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, at around 7:15am local time when the collision occurred.

According to local reports, of the 46 people treated, four were critically injured, nine were less seriously injured and 33 had minor injuries.

The coach, travelling from Lleida to La Granja d’Escarp crashed on the popular Rambla Ferran – one of the city’s most historic streets featuring a pedestrian-friendly boulevard with shops, apartment buildings and 19th-century architecture.
