Gyokeres not untouchable

Arsenal do not consider Viktor Gyokeres untouchable this summer, according to Ben Jacobs.

The Sweden international joined the club last year and enjoyed a solid first season at the Emirates, even if he did not set the world alight as the Gunners won the Premier League.

There is no suggestion that Arsenal are actively looking to sell the striker this summer, but at the same time, they would consider a sale in what is described as a “fascinating situation.”

“He might be available on the market for the right price,” Jacobs said. “With Gyokeres, if it hit a certain number, Arsenal wouldn’t reject out of hand. I don’t think he’s for sale, but I don’t think he’s untouchable.”

Chelsea want record fee for Gusto

Chelsea will only consider a sale of Malo Gusto for a world-record fee this summer, the BBC understands.

The Frenchman is mulling over his future following the signing of Marco Palestra from Atalanta and would be open to a move away. Man City have been linked with Gusto, but he is not a leading target.

Chelsea, though, are only willing to talk business if a sum in the region of €87 million were to be offered, which would see Gusto shatter Achraf Hakimi’s record of being the most expensive full-back ever.

Vini Jr given deadline

Real Madrid have set an internal deadline to agree a new contract with Vinicius Jr, as per AS.

The winger only has a year left to run on his deal and discussions, which previously proved very difficult, will restart once his World Cup campaign has ended. However, should no agreement be reached by a certain date, a sale will be considered.

Vinicius has fielded long-standing interest from Saudi Arabia. He has repeatedly insisted that he is keen to stay at Real Madrid, but progress will need to be made on a new contract if he wishes not to be transfer-listed.

Spurs confident over Fernandes

Tottenham are growing increasingly confident of signing West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, The Times writes.

Man Utd have long been considered the favourites to sign the Portugal international, but Spurs are willing to pay a higher transfer fee and match West Ham’s asking price, as was confirmed on Wednesday by Sky Sports.

Lucas Bergvall has requested to leave the club, which means that Spurs are ready to spend big on a replacement. Man Utd have so far baulked at West Ham’s €90m+ asking price.

Bouaddi not heading to Real Madrid

Real Madrid do not consider Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi a priority target, The Athletic writes.

The Morocco international is appreciated, but a move currently looks unlikely, in a major boost to Arsenal and his other suitors. Instead, Real Madrid are prioritising the signing of Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez.

In order to sign the Argentine, a midfield sale may be required. Real Madrid are open to offers for Aurelien Tchouameni, which could be good news for Man Utd, as he is a dream target for them.
