England made an encouraging start to their 2026 World Cup campaign, beating 2018 runners-up and 2022 semi-finalists Croatia 4-2 in their Group L opener.
The performance offered a glimpse of a more adventurous England under manager Thomas Tuchel, with the Three Lions showing a greater willingness to attack and play on the front foot than they often did during the reign of Gareth Southgate.
They will look to build on that impressive display when they face Ghana in Boston tonight.
Unsurprisingly, England head into the contest as overwhelming favourites. According to Sky Bet, the Three Lions are priced at 1/6 to make it two wins from two, while Ghana are available at 14/1 to pull off a major upset. The draw is priced at 13/2.
Ghana also opened their tournament with victory, although they left it late to secure all three points. A 95th-minute strike from Caleb Yirenkyi earned the African side a dramatic 1-0 win over Panama in their opening fixture.
