The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has announced its Best XI for the 2025/26 Premiership season, honouring the players and coach who delivered exceptional performances throughout an enthralling campaign.

The selection reflects the consistency, quality, and influence of standout stars across the league, with champions Edo Queens contributing the highest number of representatives following their successful title-winning season.
Sports247 reports that in goal, Fatima Oloko of Abia Angels earned recognition after an outstanding campaign marked by commanding displays and numerous clean sheets.
Her performances were instrumental in Abia Angels’ impressive run and established her as one of the league’s most reliable goalkeepers.
The defensive line features Valentina Uroko of Edo Queens, Oladeji Oluwabunmi of Bayelsa Queens, Jumoke Alani of Nasarawa Amazons, and Favour Iheagwaram of Abia Angels.
The quartet impressed with their defensive solidity, leadership, and ability to perform consistently under pressure.
The midfield trio combines creativity and industry, with Joy Igbokwe of Nasarawa Amazons joined by Oluwakemi Adegbuyi of FC Robo Queens and Chioma Moses of Edo Queens.
Adegbuyi’s inclusion caps a remarkable individual season in which she also claimed the league’s Player of the Season award.
Leading the attack are three of the campaign’s most influential forwards: Abasiofon Uwah of Rivers Angels, Atume Doosuur of Edo Queens, and Ayatsea Hembafan of Nasarawa Amazons.
Uwah and Doosuur were among the league’s leading scorers, while Hembafan consistently delivered decisive contributions for her side.
On the touchline, Moses Aduku was named Coach of the Season after guiding Edo Queens to the 2025/26 NWFL Premiership title.
