Ayyoub Bouaddi causes a stir as Arsenal fans beg club to sign him after Scotland masterclass

Ayyoub Bouaddi has caught the attention of a number of elite level clubs thanks to his exploits for club and country, with Arsenal fans demanding Andrea Berta seriously consider the midfielder

Arsenal have been urged by their fans to beat the competition to Ayyoub Bouaddi’s signature this summer, following a World Cup masterclass.

The Moroccan midfielder was a key player in his nation’s 1-0 win over Scotland on Friday evening, playing the full 90 minutes and pulling the strings in a well-oiled display from the engine room. Ally McCoist, who was providing commentary for the match, was quick to point out how impressed he was by the 18-year-old, who showed a wealth of experience at such a young age.

He said: “I don’t mind him,” as Jon Champion replied: “Is that you way of saying you think highly of him?” before McCoist then added: “Very much so.”

“This Moroccan midfield maestro is ice-cold composure personified, bossing Ligue 1 for Lille, dominating vs Brazil with 92% pass accuracy & duel wins and now controlling the midfield against Scotland.
