Highly promising forward, Stanley Iheanacho is eyeing regular playing time and appearances next season in the UEFA Europa League now that he is back at FC Midtjylland of Denmark, Sports247 reports.

Iheanacho also believes that playing in familiar terrain will aid his ambitions, following his return to Midtjylland from Portuguese second-tier outfit, CD Mafra on an improved contract running until December 31, 2030.
He enthused further that the high-level exposure and experience he gained from playing in Portugal will also help him cement a spot in the mainframe at Midtjylland, where he was a youth player before moving to Mafra.
The 21-year-old attacker, who scored 17 goals in 65 games across two seasons in Portugal, stressed that he is fully focused on taking his career to a higher level, now that he is back in Denmark.
”I see it as a good opportunity for me to move to FC Midtjylland. I really enjoyed my time here when I played in the academy. It was like my springboard and the start of my career.
“I got a lot of playing time, and had a really good season most recently. Now I feel that the next step for me is to move back to FC Midtjylland, hopefully get playing time here and continue my development.
“I look forward to being part of the club again, hopefully winning titles and playing in the Europa League,” Iheanacho concluded with a strong tone of optimism.
