Basketball Hall of Famer Dwight Howard is accusing his estranged wife of lying about her own infertility to trick him into marriage, according to court files obtained by The Daily Mail.
Howard’s attorney requested a protective order against Amber, a singer known by the stage name Amy Luciani, claiming in the application that she ‘commenced a crusade of lies and defamation against’ the Orlando Magic great.
‘[Amber] has a history of lying and manipulating [Howard],’ read the filing obtained by The Daily Mail. ‘Specifically, but not exhaustively, [Amber] knew she was physically unable to have children, but denied that fact and actively lied about that fact to [Howard], resulting in the marriage.
‘Moreover, among the social media and media posts that [Amber] has falsely made about [Howard] since the inception of this divorce action, is a post made by [Amber] in which [Amber] alleges that [Howard’s] cocaine use and/or abuse caused their divorce.
‘[Amber] is fully aware that [Howard] has never used cocaine in his entire life. The result of [Amber’s] false and malicious posts is that [Howard] was turned away from a contract opportunity, as well as injury to his reputation and name.’
Howard additionally accused Amber of lying about him to his family, friends, the mothers of his five children and even law enforcement.

Since the filing, Howard and Amber have agreed not to come within 100 yards of each other or harass each other on social media. Previously Howard was awarded sole use of his Georgia mansion, but was ordered to pay her $10,000 to help Amber move.
The Daily Mail has sought comment from attorneys for both parties.
The couple was married in January of 2025, but she filed for divorce months later only to ultimately dismiss her initial petition.
It was Howard’s turn to file for divorce in March of this year, prompting Amber to retaliate by accusing him of drug use.

He did briefly drop a request for restraining order in April, calling for an ‘amicable resolution’ to their divorce proceedings. Ultimately, though, the pair would agree to stay away from each other.

Howard is a busy father with five children born to five different mothers.
