Arsenal face an interesting summer after ending their Premier League title drought, with strengthening a debatable attack likely to be their focus in the transfer window
Arsenal will be looking to strengthen their attack this summer ahead of their Premier League title defence. The Gunners enjoyed a brilliant 2025/26 campaign – becoming top-flight champions for the first time in 22 years and reaching the Champions League final.
But questions remain over their attacking options after an injury-hit season for Bukayo Saka, and with Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke failing to fully convince.
One of those of interest includes Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, who is among the most sought-after players in the transfer window this summer. The 23-year-old has emerged as one of Villa’s standout performers over the past two years, managing 14 goals and 12 assists across all competitions this season.
Unsurprisingly, this form has attracted attention from the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, although Villa are expected to demand in excess of £90million for their prized asset. football.london understands that Rogers is one of the Gunners’ top priorities.

And the Independent report that Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola. It is claimed that the Gunners are looking into the necessary details before lodging a bid.
It is reported that PSG’s preference would be to keep the attacker, but they are also open to reshaping the attack themselves. This is said to be due to their interest in two existing Arsenal targets, Rogers and Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez.
The report adds that Arsenal may buy both Rogers and an attacker, such as Barcola, this summer. Such moves could cost the Gunners around £200m in total.
Barcola has already impressed at this summer’s World Cup with France. The 23-year-old scored a brilliant goal in Les Bleus’ 3-1 win over Senegal on Tuesday night.

Rogers, meanwhile, could come in for Leandro Trossard on the left or Madueke if Saka is injured. The former Middlesbrough is also an option at No.10 if Arteta chooses to utilise him there.
