Nigerian sprint star Kanyinsola Ajayi has declared that his record-breaking performance at the NCAA Championships is only the beginning after storming to a sensational 9.72 seconds to claim the men’s 100m title.

Ajayi etched his name into the history books by becoming only the second Nigerian man after Divine Oduduru to win the prestigious NCAA 100m crown.

“It means a lot to me to achieve something like this,” Ajayi said.
