Edo Queens have been crowned champions of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) for the 2025/26 season.
Moses Aduku’s side secured the title after holding Bayelsa Queens to a goalless draw in their final NWFL Super Six playoff match in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
The Benin City-based club finished top of the standings with 10 points from five matches, claiming the league title for the second time in their history.

Bayelsa Queens ended the competition in second place with eight points.
Nasarawa Amazons, who were also in contention for the title, missed out after playing a 0-0 draw against Rivers Angels in their final playoff fixture.
