Tom Brady rubs shoulders with Neymar as he headlines stars at World Cup game… before performing sweet handshake with daughter Vivian

NFL legend Tom Brady swapped one kind of football for the other on Saturday as he headlined the A-listers soaking up the World Cup action.

The former quarterback, 48, rubbed shoulders with soccer royalty ahead of Brazil’s opening clash against Morocco in Group C of the World Cup in New Jersey.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner was at MetLife Stadium, which will also host the final of the soccer extravaganza on Saturday evening, to watch the showdown.

Brady, who is used to being in the broadcast booth at the stadium which is home to the NFL’s New York Jets and Giants, was given VIP access as he graced the sidelines before kickoff.

The Fox analyst was spotted greeting another football legend as he embraced Brazil superstar Neymar during the team’s warmups.

Brady was captured standing alongside rapper Travis Scott, who sported a vintage Brazil jersey for the occasion.

He was later spotted in the stands alongside his 13-year-old daughter Vivian with the pair wearing matching blue Brazil jerseys.

They showed off their adorable father-daughter bond as they performed a heartwarming handshake.

The retired NFL star is no stranger to soccer, having owned a stake in English Championship side Birmingham City since August 2023.

Brady is frequently spotted in the stands at St. Andrews to cheer on his team and even featured in an Amazon Prime documentary about his ownership last year.

He has also been closely linked to the World Cup, participating in the draw for the tournament last December.

Brady headlined the draw assistants for last winter’s ceremony with the lineup featuring some of North America’s greatest sporting talent.

MLB superstar Aaron Judge, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, NHL great Wayne Gretzky and former Manchester United and England sensation Rio Ferdinand also joined Brady with the quintet bridging the American and Canadian sporting scene with the soccer world.

In fact, it was Brady who pulled Brazil’s name out, deciding their fate, in ironic twist given his ex-wife hails from the South American nation.

Brady and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen were married for 13 years until their divorce in October 2022. They share two children, 16-year-old son Benjamin and 13-year-old daughter Vivian.

His appearance at Saturday’s fixture comes one day after Brady celebrated his eldest son’s high school graduation.

Jack, 18, whom Brady shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, graduated from Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, New York, on Friday with his entire family present to cheer him on.

Brady’s two younger children were also in attendance to support their brother.

However, neither Jack nor Benjamin appeared to have joined their famous father at MetLife on Saturday.Â
