The Villans got the job done in Birmingham last night after an absolute demolition of Vitor Pereira’s Nottingham Forest side, leaving Villa fans everywhere wondering how exactly to secure a seat in the final.

Villa Park is always special under the lights, but last night it was on another level entirely.
Trailing 1-0 from the first leg and suffering poor form in the Premier League, Unai Emery’s side needed to put in a big shift, and the players were happy to oblige.
Forest’s narrow lead felt incredibly fragile from the first whistle, paving the way for a bandage-clad Ollie Watkins to open the scoring after a superb assist from Emi Buendía in the 36th minute.
After the break, the one-way traffic continued, with Buendía stepping up to convert a penalty after Pau Torres was fouled in the box.
Villa captain John McGinn then put an emphatic stamp on the tie, netting a quick-fire brace to send his team to the final with a 4-0 victory on the night.
Aston Villa will now face Bundesliga side SC Freiburg in the final, after the German team beat Braga with an aggregate score of 4-3.
