While it is not confirmed the reason behind her disappearance, her stepdad confirmed the news of Lucy’s return on Facebook. The mum-of-one is now reunited with her young daughter
A missing mum has returned home “safe and sound” and reunited with her daughter after vanishing in Paris, almost two weeks ago.
Lucy Stemp, from Tonbridge, went missing after travelling to Brest, France for a music festival before heading off to Paris with her last known location being the Bercy district. It has been revealed that she has now been found and returned to her with her young daughter, Gracie Anne.
The news was confirmed by her stepfather Sean, whom confirmed she had finally made it home Wednesday 10, after almost two weeks of no contact.
Friends and family reported her missing and launched for urgent appeals for information as their concerns continued to grow over the missing mum, as she is believed to have gone missing on May 30. The British Embassy and Interpol were reportedly involved in finding her.
Her young daughter was left desperately waiting for her mums return as they shared a strong bond. Lucy described her daughter as “the reason she keeps going”. She proudly shared news of her daughter’s swimming achievement. On 19 April, she posted: “My beautiful princess, level 3 with her swimming. So proud of you my Gracie Anne.”
While it is unclear the reasons behind the mum’s disappearance, as Lucy is now taking time with family at home. People have shared their joy on the Facebook post to hear the mum-of-one is now home.
Mark Wiles said: “Relieved she’s home , hope you, Denise and family are all ok after what must have been a nightmare time….”
Dave Nash said: “That’s great news. Hope you are all OK after such a distressing time.”
Lucy’s stepfather Sean said: “Lucy is my stepdaughter and is very vulnerable, she has been missing for over a week now.” Family members fear Lucy may not have access to the help she needs to return home.
