Trabzonspor of Turkey striker, Paul Ebere Onuachu is edging closer to the Turkish Super Lig club’s exit door, as pressure to sell keeps mounting on them from mega-rich outfits in Saudi Arabia, led by Al-Ahli FC, Sports247 reports.

It was gathered that, although Ahli recently had a €11m offer for the 32-year-old Onuachu rejected by Trabzonspor, the Saudi Super Lig outfit are bent on hooking the former FC Ebedie of Sagamu and ex-FC Midtjylland of Denmark hitman.
Onuachu, who has also previously played for RKC Genk of Belgium and Southampton of England, got back into the spotlight this season when he finished as joint top scorer in the Super Lig and he continues to attract strong interest from Saudi sides.
Further approaches are being expected from the oil rich clubs for Onuachu, who hit home 22 goals and shared the Turkish league’s top scorer award, then enhanced his status by scoring twice in Trabzonspor’s FA Cup final win over Konyaspor.
A report by Takagazete further reveals, “Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan recently confirmed that the club has received offers for seven players, although only one or two departures are expected this summer.
“Head coach Fatih Tekke is also reportedly open to Onuachu’s exit, as he looks to bring in a more mobile attacking option.
Al-Ahli had previously seen a bid for the former FC Midtjylland striker turned down during the January transfer window.”
