Israel says its air defences intercepted two ballistic missiles launched from Iran towards northern Israel, marking the first Iranian missile attack since a ceasefire took effect on April 8.
The Israeli military said the missiles were shot down a short while ago.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
