Chelsea will be keeping a keen eye on a number of stars heading to the World Cup this summer as the transfer window opens during the major tournament.
The highly anticipated event is just days away from beginning, with the 26-man squads officially confirmed. A total of 11 Blues stars will travel to the United States, Canada and Mexico for the World Cup to vie for the trophy.
Reece James (England), Pedro Neto (Portugal), Mamadou Sarr and Nicolas Jackson (Senegal), Marc Cucurella (Spain), Jorrel Hato (Netherlands), Malo Gusto (France), Enzo Fernandez (Argentina), Mike Penders (Belgium), Kendry Paez and Moises Caicedo (Ecuador) will all represent Chelsea at the major tournament.

However, Xabi Alonso will likely be keeping not only on his new players, but also transfer targets across the World Cup fixtures. Premier League stars like Marcus Rashford and Morgan Rogers have been linked with the Blues, with former Liverpool star Ibrahima Konate also in the transfer mix.
Alonso’s impending arrival was confirmed last month as he succeeds Liam Rosenior at the helm of the club. The former Spain international joined the Blues on a four-year deal and will officially begin his work on July 1.
The ex-Real Madrid star will be keen to hit the ground running in the Premier League and the World Cup will be the perfect opportunity to scout some potential new signings.
