Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain could be about to go head-to-head again, this summer in the summer transfer window
Arsenal may have fears of missing out on one of their transfer targets this summer, with Paris Saint-Germain expressing an interest in Eli Junior Kroupi.
The Gunners could be set for a busy transfer window ahead as they look to build on their Premier League title success.
Mikel Arteta’s side finished ahead of Manchester City in the battle for the league title, but lost to PSG in the Champions League final last weekend.
The Gunners will now turn their attention to preparing for next season, which will include looking to the transfer market for potential new additions.
As reported by football.london, Kroupi is a player of interest to Arsenal ahead of the summer, with the 19-year-old able to play as a centre-forward or as a second striker.
Kroupi joined Bournemouth in January last year and scored 13 goals in the Premier League in his full debut season with the Cherries, prompting rumours of a potential departure this summer.
Despite Arsenal being interested, it seems that there may have competition from PSG, with The Independent reporting that the Ligue 1 giants are also in the running to sign Kroupi.
The report claims that the Gunners face a battle to sign the talented forward, with PSG also expressing an interest, although it’s unclear who would be the favourite at this stage.
It has also been claimed that Arsenal would want to make Kroupi one of their three or four signings made this summer, while also expecting the same number to leave the club.

There is no clear indication of what fee Bournemouth would demand, but with the player under contract until 2030 and with the club qualifying for the Europa League, the Cherries will be under no pressure to sell this summer.
Kroupi is not the only forward that Arsenal have added to their shortlist, with Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez also heavily linked with a move to North London.
Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers is another player of interest to Arsenal, with some suggestions that the England international could cost anywhere from £80million to £100million.
The aforementioned report goes on to say that PSG have an interest in both Alvarez and Rogers, with it going so far as to say that the European champions are willing to meet the €125millon (£108m) that Atletico have set for the Argentina international.
