The Super Falcons camp in Ikenne, Ogun State, continues to gather momentum ahead of the highly anticipated double-header international friendly against Senegal, with Eight more players arriving to boost preparations.

The latest arrivals into camp are Joy Omewa, Tosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Illivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi, Anderline Mgbechi, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and Omorinsola Babajide.
They join the early arrivals which include Shukurat Oladipo, Kafayat Shittu, and six-time African Women’s Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala to take the total number of players to eleven as preparations intensify under the guidance of head coach Justine Madugu.
The Super Falcons are to face Senegal in two international friendly matches scheduled for June 5 and June 8, 2026, at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.
The matches are part of Nigeria’s preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) set to hold in Morocco next month.
More players and officials are expected in camp as the team gradually builds towards full strength ahead of the important test games against the Senegalese side.
Nigeria is aiming to win the 11th Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Morocco and also qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil
