Super Eagles’ coach, Eric Sekou Chelle has disclosed that he is building a ‘winning mentality’ in the Nigerian national team and declared that they will go all out for victory against Poland during their international friendly on Wednesday.

Sports247 reports that, though the match is an away fixture in Warsaw’s 58,000-capacity Stadion PGE Narodowy, Chelle believes his squad is good enough to tango the Poles toe-to-toe and come out unscathed.
Poland’s coach, Jan Urban will again count on Oskar Pietuszewski, Mateusz Żukowski, Norbert Wojtuszek, Kacper Potulski and Oskar Wójcik as well as in-form winger Jakub Kamiński, who played as a substitute against Ukraine.
However, despite the odds of playing a crack squad on away territory, Chelle is staying upbeat, as he prepares to roll his side out of their comfortable abode at Warsaw Presidential Hotel for the game, which will start at 7:45pm Nigeria time.
The Super Eagles head into the encounter buoyed by their triumph last Saturday at the 2026 Unity Cup in London and they are unbeaten in their last five matches, which gives Chelle more flesh in his hope for victory, despite Poland’s home advantage.
Chelle told thenff.com after taking his squad through their last training session, “We are preparing to go out there and win. Winning is the mentality that we are trying to create in the team (and) in the players. We will go for a win on Wednesday.”
