Arsenal are showing an interest in the Leicester City youngster who has featured in both the Premier League and Championship.
Arsenal are in talks over a transfer for Leicester City’s highly-rated Jeremy Monga. The 16-year-old has been a regular in the Foxes’ first team squad over the last two seasons.
Monga is a player highly appreciated by Arsenal, football.london understands, with talks underway to determine the capacity for a move. Suggestions are that any transfer could cost the Gunners in the region of £10million to £15million.
Arsenal want to improve their roster of young talent. Max Dowman and Myles Lewis-Skelly have been big successes from the academy, but also in the side that won the Premier League, is William Saliba, who joined at 18 years of age.

The club have already agreed deals to sign Victor Ozhianvuna who will join the club in the January window of next season. While Ecuadorian twins Edwin and Holger Quintero will join in August of 2027 as further efforts to bring in the brightest talent remains a priority.
Monga made his Leicester debut in the Premier League in the 2024/25 season as a 15-year-old. He made seven league appearances between April and the end of the season.
Despite relegation to the Championship, Leicester managed to see off interest from clubs last summer with the teenager signing an academy scholarship when he turned 16.
That deal is due to turn professional this summer, on his 17th birthday (July 10).
While a fee with Leicester could be agreed, there is also the possibility of a tribunal to decide if the Gunners have paid a fair price for the youngster.
In the season just gone, Monga made 30 appearances in all competitions, becoming the Championship’s youngest ever goalscorer when netting against Preston North End in August.
Leicester’s relegation from the Championship has prompted interest again. For the Foxes, a fee of £10-15 million would be pure profit for Monga, who joined the club at 9 years old.
Monga is currently away on international duty with England’s U18s. He scored the decisive goal in the 2-1 win over Greece U19s as well as getting on the scoresheet in the 6-1 win over Cyprus.
After winning the Premier League title, Arsenal are looking to strengthen in the transfer window. The Gunners are showing an interest in Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers and Bournemouth’s Junior Eli Kroupi as they set up to defend their title next season.
